Steve St. Bernard, an MTA bus driver and Good Samaritan coming home from work made a rescue that should earn him a civilian service award .. and a few days of paid vacation ... with a paid vacation for him and his family. I just did what I would do for one of my own kids."

Man catches girl who fell out of 3rd story window: 'I just prayed that I’d catch her'
Keyla McCree crawled out of her window and was dancing and singing on top of an air conditioner before she tripped and fell from the ledge.
A seven-year-old Brooklyn girl is safe thanks to a fast-acting neighbor who came to her rescue.

MTA bus driver Steve St Bernard, 52, was waiting below with his arms outstretched and managed to catch the girl and save her life.
